It is the practice of directing attention and intention towards attaining/receiving beneficial, positive spiritual energies of Non-ordinary or other-worldly realms. Anchoring them into the physical real-world experience using the skills and tools of the shaman for the purposes of healing, knowledge and understanding. This basis lies on the acceptance that everything, sentient and otherwise, is of the same energy, fully animated, conscious and aware.
